Welcome to our little shop and tea room nestled deep in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Using the finest locally sourced ingredients we serve breakfast, lunch and sweet & savoury snacks alongside the best quality teas, coffee and a selection of our favourite soft drinks, wine, beer and cider from around the world.
Who
we are
We are Sally and Oli and we have recently moved to North Yorkshire after living in the French Alps where we worked in the tourism sector. We are thrilled to have started the business that we always dreamed of here in Hawnby.
The Stores
Within our little shop we have a little bit of everything. From our essentials section and our toiletries and household goods to our luxury items and Yorkshire produce. We wanted to stock everything that we would hope to find in a shop alongside all of our favourite items from Yorkshire and around the world. We have also tried to make available all of the ingredients we use within the tea room for you to take home with you. For example the Reet Yorkshire Sauce and the Shaws Picalilli we use in our sandwiches and the Rounton Coffee Granary Blend we serve in the tea room are for sale in the shop.
